Application description
OrbLive turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a multimedia receiver. Want to watch live TV? It’s just a click away. Want to listen to music while you’re on the go? Rock on! Watch downloaded videos at the coffee-house? Pull up a comfy chair.
OrbLive is a screamer over Wifi, but it even works over 3G or Edge (only for music and photos for now). Select your media, and push play. No need to synch or upload to a website ahead of time. OrbLive plays any media, in virtually any format.
Just download Orb onto the Windows PC* where you have your media. Then use OrbLive to enjoy your media on your iPhone or iPod touch. All your media - it’s just better on OrbLive.
* Coming soon for Mac and Linux computers.
NEW IN THIS VERSION
This new version now allows to stream all videos, including LiveTV, over the 3G and Edge Network. Since the bandwidth is limited the quality isn't as good as WiFi, but the format we chose makes the experience very acceptable indeed.
Another addition in this version is the ability to access and preview the documents such as PDFs, DOCs, XLSs and other TXTs files.
